looks nice but not too sturdyThe swing looks beautiful and is easy to put together but it is not very sturdy you can feel the back give when you sit down and the boards are narrow and thin. I would not want any more than about 200 lb or so on this swing and kids bouncing on it might damage it. I feel there should have been a support in the center and the boards should have been a little thicker.

Nice and ComfortableThis porch swing is well-made not hard to assemble (if you have any mechanical sense about you) and very comfortable to sit in. There is some work in the assembly but no major construction - you just have to bolt on the arm rests and the chain and hang it of course. Nice color too.

Great value well constructedI purchased my swing at a local hardware store. It came boxed flat with some assembly required. Very easy to assemble. I chose to paint mine to match the trim of my house. The product came already sanded so it was ready to paint. Mine was purchased to replace a swing hanging from a fixture in my yard. The old swing seemed to be exactly the same make and model and it came with my house I purchased 15 years ago. The old swing looked old already when I bought the house so it survived pretty well.
Maximum capacity for this swing is 500 pounds.
